It was a dark winter’s night in Spencerville, the magical town populated by pets who had passed away. The town was usually a peaceful place, but tonight all was not well. In the distance, a loud bark could be heard coming from the bank.

Russell, a brindle bulldog with a white stripe between his eyes, was the first to investigate. He had been sleeping soundly in his room at the bed and breakfast, but the sound had woken him up. He jumped out of bed and rushed to the scene.

When he arrived, he saw that the bank had been robbed. The robbers had escaped with a large amount of bones and treats, but they had left behind a note. The note warned that if the townspeople didn’t pay a ransom of treats and bones, they would not be safe.

The wise old sage, Spencer, was called in to investigate. He immediately noticed that the robbers had left paw prints, which meant they were likely dogs. He asked around and discovered that the robbers had been seen in town earlier that day.

Russell decided to take matters into his own paws and started tracking the robbers. He followed their tracks to Black Bulldog Bay,
