Hey Mom and Dad,

You won’t believe this, but I’ve heard the wildest tale! It’s about a kingdom, Spencerville, built by pets, for pets, after a big shakeup. Who’s the leader? None other than Jethro, our cheese-loving, beautifully asymmetrical Bulldog. 😊

Old Johnson’s marketplace? It’s the swanky Shepherd Skyline now. And our boy jealously guards his spots in Sniff ‘n’ Snack and The Barkery for his favorite – cheese! 🧀

It’s a place of joy and solace, with Jethro and other animal pals living it up, making the best of their afterlife with just as much zeal and joy as before! And the best part? They really adore it and are not just waiting for something but living their fullest.

Just wanted you both to know, your boy Jethro is doing just fine on the other side of the rainbow bridge, earing his asymmetry with pride and ruling over a kingdom that truly values him.

After the devastation that rocked our world, a sort of cosmic dust swept away all the convoluted human-driven societies we’d held so dear. City scraps struggled to sprout anew, but it’s laughable, isn’t it? The joke being, the humans weren’t the ones doing the sprouting, but our good-natured fellows, our beloved pets, they were the ones who found salvation. And I’ve got to tell you about this here Bulldog, Jethro, who rose to be an honorable leader in this mightily transformed landscape, now fondly christened as Spencerville.

Before things went topsy-turvy, this lad Jethro was as jovial and genuine as a Bulldog could get. His gregarious nature lit every room he trundled into and his coarse snoring was as pleasant as the hum of a well-weathered record. Jethro had his eccentricities, I’ll grant you that. Man, he loved cheese. Could sniff a slice from miles away. Good thing for him, The Barkery and Sniff ‘n’ Snack started dealing in dairy, ain’t it?

Jethro made his residence in the Shepherd Skyline, towering at the top like a grand elderly gentleman observing his young successors. They sure did a fabulous job with that Skyline. It sprang up where the old Johnson’s marketplace used to stand and was fitted to fulfill every whimsy of our canine brethren. Were they not the very best of us? Deserve it, they very well do.

A joyous place, this Spencerville, truly a slice of Eden for all our departed pets. It came to them as solace – a world untouched by the decaying hands of time, waiting just over the rainbow bridge. And in its heart, presiding over the ceaseless merriment, was our dear Jethro.

Most remember him by that unique look of his, sporting a thing for asymmetry that set him apart from the rest – his unmatched ears, one speckled white and the other a solid brown, tales from a life previously lived. Company, he cherished more than anything, and found it aplenty in Spencerville. In the absence of his dear mom, he found friends in Fat Russel and Spencer and his siblings were never too far away.

Jethro’s not alone in his love for this afterlife society, for Spencerville’s a beacon for all our bygone animal companions. Their land, their rules, their life. And they’re not just waiting around, oh no. They’re living fullly with as much gumption and joy as they had in the world that was, knowing that the reunion is just a heart hop away. So fear not, for every lost loved one is just over there in Spencerville, living their best life. Waiting for us, with a smile.
