Have you met Otis? He is a Mini Schnauzer and he’s just taken over as the reigning monarch of Spencerville. Dressed in tones of salt and pepper and emanating an unparalleled effervescence, Otis is quite the character. He has a few distinct aversions; the desert, that damnable pool, certain canine contemporaries, vegetables (the audacity!) and the impertinent intruder, the delivery person.

Now, for those unfamiliar with the locality, Spencerville is quite the destination for pets who’ve bid adieu to the mortal world. Some might call it pet paradise, a place where our furry, feathery, and scaly counterparts live out their afterlives in near-human splendour until they reunite with their human companions.

Our mini monarch rules from the Fawn Pug Palace, most likely amidst an extensive collection of toys, including a deflated old basketball, a stuffed turtle, and an owl.
