Lil Dot PawWord Story
“Hey Mom, it’s Diva, your lil Dot. Spencerville’s a survival camp now; we’ve gone from playing fetch to fetching our lives. Using Westie Woods as a fort and facing wild challenges while potent longing for human snuggles tugs at our hearts. I’m pulling full Alpha, leading this puppy troop amidst chaos, clinging to hope. Strange times but we’re tougher than a bone. Miss you. Paw five, Diva.”
Hello, there, I must warn you, the world can go topsy-turvy even in Spencerville, but we’re dealing. I’m Lil Dot, the petite bulldog, your point of paw here. Spencerville ain’t as quiet as it seemed; post-apocalypse has hit us, too. A quaint town known for its euphoria has turned into a survival camp. Sheds don’t feel the same anymore. The old Westie Woods is now our fortress.
I meander aimlessly across its magnificent perimeter, my stark snowy coat glimmers under the infernal sun. Despite the chaos, Pupperoni Pizza stands defiant. I can almost taste the delicious chicken, my mouth salivates, but an old memory of a scoffed banana and bread disappointment creeps in. Sighing, I shake it off. That ain’t the world we live in now.
As the alpha-dog, it’s on me, navigating the ones we affectionately call ‘The Walking Pets’. I’ve always enjoyed the company of bigger dogs, but now it’s a mixed group here. Spencer, Fenway, Pearl, Zelda, along with Bandit, Hans, King, and Hagan, my brothers. They look at me expectantly, like I’ve got all the answers. It’s a tough gig, but we’re a family, albeit one that communicates in barks, not words.
The waters of East Bulldog Bay, once a place of respite, now seem like an unforgiving challenge. Every rustle, every movement sends our hearts racing. Good parts, bad parts, that’s survival.
We miss our humans, a thought that fills me with an overwhelming melancholy. But promise of reunion keeps our paws moving. This ain’t no dog-park fun anymore, but we endure, adapt, move further ahead into this uncharted territory.
Deliverypeople? Ha! Back in the day, those unsuspecting creatures suffered my wrath, kinda funny how the world spins, huh? If only I could see one now, standing victorious amidst this craziness.
Some days, I long for the warmth of the sun and the wash of ocean breeze on my face. Wish I could portal to a quiet beach and escape the harsh reality. But, stubborn as I am, I won’t quit until Spencerville is safe for us again.
Isn’t it strange, who would’ve imagined a petite bulldog like me running things? But, even in the middle of an apocalypse, Spencerville remains our nearly perfect place. The essence of hope and resilience persists, just as we all do.
Always remember, we’re more than pets waiting for our loving owners. We’re survivors in Spencerville, defending our turf till the day we reunite with our humans. It’s been a strange day, in a strange life, but it’s ours, and we fight, together as one.
The End.
