Wally Bear PawWord Story
“Pawsburg, chicken fragnance, adventure, and my heart doing somersaults for Fawn Pug lady. Fun fact: gulped down banana pudding she nudged towards me. I’m still intact! Love, she makes you do crazy things. Paws shaking a little, tail wagging a lot. Just another woofday in a dog’s life. Until the sun sets, Wally B.đž”
It was midnight, right around the ringing of the townâs bone-shaped clock. The owners were out of town. Pawsburg was in sight and my pudgy heart pounded in anticipation of mischief. It wasn’t the first time I, Wally Bear, was crossing the borders to where hoomans didn’t existâonly paw parties, bustling doggy socialites, and boy did those fried chicken smells from Furrific Fried Chicken waft through the air!
Picture this: a beaming, rotund English Bulldog, me, gallantly strutting down to Boxer Beach. But don’t let all of this robust brawn fool you; my heart’s a softie, particularly for a certain Fawn Pug who resided at the Fawn Pug Palace.
Been in love with her ever since she pounced on me at Doggie Daycare and gnawed at my rubber chicken. That kid has got an appetite; not just for toys, but for adventure. And love? That was our adventure.
Boiled carrot in my mouth, I trotted through our doggy paradise, heading for the Palace. She was there. I could smell her perfumeâa mix of fresh dog shampoo from The Groom Room and the infamous Whiskers and Wingsâ Treat Perfume. She was glamorous, a true doggy diva.
Stepping into the palace, there she was, gobbling down a platter of Biscuit ‘n Beef from Bone Appetit. My snout twitched; she noticed and with those big, dark eyes signaled me to sit by her.
But alas! A dish of banana pudding was placed between us. This was a twisted love story, dear reader. She loved bananas. Wally Bear did not. Even the thought of the mushy fruit got my paws sweating. But looking into her eyes, my tail wagged despite my horror.
She nudged the dish towards me, her eyes brimming with mischief and something moreâaffection.
“Fur the love of dog, Wally,” her tone mocked me, “one bite wonât hurt you.â The room fell quiet. I could hear my heart beating, the rubber chicken in my pocket squeaking. The entire Pawsburg waited with bated breath.
So, I did it. I took a gulp of that horrendous banana pudding. She clapped her paws, giggling. Other dogs joined. Somehow the pudding didn’t taste so bad. Scandalous, I know! Only for her, I thought, pulling her in for a cuddle.
And thus goes the tale of Wally Bear. It’s a dog’s life, you see, filled with zest, love, and a dash of banana pudding. What’s next you ask? Well, we’ll just have to wait for the sun to set. Until then, fellow romantics, until then.
The End.
