Alright, let’s picture this, it’s yet another pleasant day in Spencerville. Now, there I am, Clovis, bulldog extraordinaire, enjoying my standard Tuesday afternoon nap in the warm crevices of the Cream Maltese Meadow. My stocky, muscular physique at rest while the sun caresses my brindle coat. That’s bliss for you.

Gilbert and Zelda? Stretched out not too far away, sunning themselves too. We work as a team, you know? Team Bulldog, we call ourselves, not very inventive, but it gets the point across. Frankly, our intense loyalty for each other could put anyone to shame. We’ve been through it all. Sunbathing, stuffing our faces with delectable morsels from the Pup-Peroni. Ah, the good life.

The ultimate trick? The seemingly naive innocence of play with my stuffed bone. The world saw it as a simple bulldog’s plaything. Little did they know it’s a perfect mold for a Chicken Coop’s lock key. Ah! The thrill! The anticipation! The sheer genius!

Wait though, don’t breathe a word of this to anyone. Tomorrow, when you see Team Bulldog trotting down Westie Woods once more, basking in our reclaimed freedom, wearing that knowing smile, make sure to keep up the omertà. That’s our little secret.
