I find myself in Spencerville, at Corgi Castle, partaking a cream cheese bagel at the Doggy Bagel Deli, reminiscing about life on earth. The afterword, the sweet essence of serenity and the joy of the South Siberian Summit view’s bittersweet moment, evoked by its quiet majesty.

My name is Jethro. And the three things I fancy- friendship, cheese, and rambunctious play, they wait for me here, in the yard beyond the human years. My fur, a mix of brindle and white, with a smattering of spots embellishing my left ear, I’ve been told – a sight worth falling for.

Playful larks with Jolly ball, or finding solace in the cuddlesome comfort of the stuffies…those were some of the finest moments. Now, replace “were” with “are,” and the scene doesn’t change much, except the location now holds an ethereal charm in the town of Spencerville.

In Spencerville, loneliness no longer rears its gloomy head, contradictory to my earthly existence. This ever-presence of companionship pours sweetness into life. It’s said that nothing lasts forever, but I’ve realized that some things indeed do.

Loneliness may have been my most profound adversary before, but now it’s just a relic of my past life. In Spencerville, we’ve replaced the silence with the music of friendship, a song for every soul lost across the human bridge. Fat Russell and Spencer, my affable amigos, they share my time, my adventures in this spectral shire.

But what’s life in Spencerville without a bit of epicurean delight? Why do you think K9 Kebabs, Fur Tacos and Doggy Bagel Deli are everyone’s favorite haunts? For me, the exhilaration for cheese hasn’t waned a bit. If anything, it’s kindled more potent zest.

The joy in Spencerville is housed in its eccentric locations, The Snooty Snout Boutique, Fawn Pug Palace or The Wagging Tail Bookstore. Each place holds a memory, a tale, a whirl of events. This is where the departed mingle with the spirits, creating a near-perfection hauntingly beautiful.

The tale of Spencerville offers comfort, reassurance that one day, I will be reunited with my loved ones – Grace, Chloe, and Biggie. But until then, I reign here in Corgi Castle, amidst the spectral beauty of South Siberian Summit view, hoping, waiting and living my afterlife.
