Chloe PawWord Story
Hey Mom,
Life here is Spencerville is a cosmic fetch game! As Capt. Chloe, I navigate the Star Rover through galaxies, sunbathe under alien suns, and keep the universe safe. Despite some annoying debris and occasional ship scrubs, it’s an exciting adventure. Missing my favorite tennis balls and you, though.
Forever Your Star Pup,
Chloe, a.k.a Clodog
When dogs poop the big one, they end up in a magical place called Spencerville. A sort of doggy heaven, if you will, without the pearly gates but with beaches and woods named after us. This is where the vivacious, brave, the Boston Terrier Chloe found herself after she left Earth.
Ask anyone in Spencerville, and they’ll remember our first sighting of Chloe, with her black and white fur glistening under the Spencerville sun. She stepped off the Star Rover, a slim, athletic build with a wit that could rival any human, and a personality that was larger than life. Chloe was a once-in-a-millennium kind of girl. Independence and loyalty were sewn into her fabric, yet she always carried a tennis ball in her mouth, her favorite toy, her lifeline.
She was unafraid to take the lead, navigating through the twisting nebula of Red Beagle Beach as naturally as she would a fetch game. Every afternoon, Chloe would make her way to East Bulldog Bay, lay the tennis ball down next to her, and embark on a sunbathing session. No wonder her fur looked radiant!
Posing as the Captain of the Star Rover, she overcame challenges and quashed alien invasions, all while steering her makeshift starship through uncharted universes and galaxies. Swimming in cosmic sea of stars, scaling interstellar mountains, the kind of adventures that would challenge even Starfleet’s best.
Every traveling pup needs a sturdy stomach, and with her preference for bananas and grilled beef ribs, she was ever ready to face whatever the galaxies threw at her. The Bone Appetit was her favorite pit stop. One serving of galaxy’s famous ice cream and another of chicken, folks there knew Chloe quite well.
Now life in a starship isn’t all solar winds and nebulae. There were things Chloe utterly despised. Say, perhaps the debris cloud that always created cacophonous bangs on the hull of her ship or the seemingly never-ending scrub downs to get rid of intergalactic muck from her fur.
Travelling through light years and learning of various species, Chloe never lost the thread of her own story. Sure, she had her own squad – Abby, Pebbles, and her sis, Betty. But she never lost herself. She didn’t forget her origin, her distaste for shouting children and her love, oh so tender, for tennis balls!
Looking back, Spencerville was never the same after Chloe.
So, even though the starship sometimes acted peculiar, or the tennis balls lost their bounce, or Spencerville became too dull, there was a curly tail wagging in the wind and a girl rushing off to her next adventure. Because Chloe was not just a dog, she was a tale. A tale told across galaxies to pups gazing at the cosmos, a beacon, a legend, and a reminder that one can always be a little more dog.
The End.
