“Speaking of unending cosmic treks, picture yourself settling into a comfortable planet we’ve come to know as Spencerville, or more precisely, in the part of it known to the residents as the eastern edge of White Westie Woods. It was a space-age saunter through a land far, far away and much furrier. Let me recount the tales of a dog of considerable size and character: Vincent the Newfoundland, and the interstellar escapades that filled his days.

Surveyed from a rusty lawn chair, Vincent was a celestial body all his own, a motley combination of glossy black and white patches punctuated by his freckles, akin to distant galaxies sprinkled across the universe. Size-wise, he was certainly in resemblance with smaller dwarf planets, with a stubborn pull that hinted at a personal gravity field. He made you perceive life from an amusingly unique angle, that’s precisely the person Vincent was: an interstellar embodiment of pet-life and a refreshing anomaly in the dog realm.

The story also orbits another celestial body, his robust sister, Princess Victoria. A larger-than-life Saint Bernard, who, notwithstanding her noble bearing, was quite astute at sharing power in their common dominion, a comfy bungalow majestically positioned on Husky Hill.

Vincent barely had an appreciation for earthly pleasures such as toys. However, if you managed to squeeze a treat inside a pickle-shaped rubber, you could see Vincent transcend into a slobbering fool possessed by a terrier’s energy.

Food, however, revolved around a fixed trajectory. His eyes grew brighter than the Sirius star on the sighting of fish or biscuits, and a heavenly treat like the nightly dental bone was hand-delivered by angels, or so he believed. However, bring any other meats to this galactic dining table, and you would witness a Red Giant displaying an explosion. The culminating act would be hurling bags of flour and pasta across a surreal moonscape kitchen.

Though he never had any affections for ear cleaning or monsoons on the weather update, walks around Spencerville Park were as calming to him as travelling at light speed, and lounging in the backyard was simply the zenith of his spatial ventures.

Vincent never travelled alone, though. His posse included humans and the array of doggo’s from around the galaxy. Be it car rides in the earthly vehicle or cuddling sessions under alien moons, he was certainly not fussed about the context, as long as he was not alone.

So, you see, earthling, the journey you’re about to embark on isn’t just a tale of a dog you thought you knew deeply. You’re embarking upon a cosmic adventure through the annals of his life that takes you across the furthest reaches of his universe.
