Greetings from me, Haze the Pomeranian mix, as I’m about to tell you a tale of how I persuaded my miserly owner to embrace the spirit of giving, with a little help from my Pawsburgh pals.

It was the night before the grand holiday shindig at Setter’s Steakhouse, and my human – let’s call him Ebenezer – would rather count pennies than spread cheer. There I lay, curled up on my favored spot of sunlit rug turned moonbeam-lit paradise, pondering my strategy.

I wagged my plume of a tail to the silent hum of the season and decided it was time to put my impish charm to use. My shadow and I practiced the most pitiful of puppy eyes and the waggiest of tail wags. You know, for effect.
