No, here I am the architect of our most audacious adventure—one that involves gourmet kibble and far fewer naps.

My fellow conspirators, an eclectic group, gathered in the usual spot behind The Pooch Playhouse. There was Mushu the Pug, a stout confidant with a penchant for bacon-flavor distractions, and Reo the Chihuahua, whose loyalty and temper were as short-lived as a rain-soaked stroll. I sniffed the air—a mix of wet fur and indefatigable ambition. The plan was as ready as a squirrel in a backyard tirade.
