Now, as the Captain, I’m donning a suit that’d make any dog’s tail wag itself off—an ensemble from Canine Couture Clothing, sleek as a whippet, and as commanding as a bulldog’s bark.

We launched from the Golden Retriever River—ah, the sight of those shimmerin’ waves would’ve made me jump in if not for this doggone pool phobia. Brrr. Dislikes aside, as the cosmos sprawled before us like the ultimate fetch field, the crew and I, we salivated at the marvels ahead.

To my fuzzy right, old Chitown’s piloting, his tiny paws workin’ those controls like a master pianist. He’s a Chihuahua, but in space, size’s as relative as the notion that cats and dogs can’t co-star in their own buddy flick.

Bella’s manning the Woof Drive—whew, when she throttles up, we sprint through stars like they’re backyard critters. And Teddy, bless his bulldozer heart, runs security; nobody messes with a Mastiff who can bark you into a parallel universe.

Aye, my companions were as varied as the kibble flavors at Dog-gone Good BBQ. But me? I missed my basketball, that rubbery siren song—ah, that bounce resoundin’ through the cosmos would’ve been a real kick in the stern!
