And let me tell you, the witching hour isn’t just for creepy crawlies and the boogeyman—nope, that’s when we, the canine wizards of the woofing world, skedaddle over to a place beyond human snores—Pawsburg.

Now, Pawsburg isn’t just any fairytale scene with its Opal Pomeranian Park and Chestnut Cocker Courtyard. It’s where the bravest of the brave play their waggiest tails off… And surprise—I’m sort of the unofficial mayor, if I do say so myself.

This one time, I bounded out the dog flap (yeah, we don’t do doors in Pawsburg), and made a beeline for the shimmering fountain at Bichon Boulevard. You know, the one near Tail-Twitching Treats, where all the cream-filled eclair bones are to bark for! But as fate would paw it, my typical frolic took a twist. I stumbled upon an alley next to The Pawfect Training Center, where this curious-looking collar was just lying there, sparkling under the moonlight.

Now, my dad always says, “Curiosity licked the pup,” but, hey, curiosity also invented dog biscuits, right? So, I pop the collar on, and just as I’m about to strut my chestnut curls over to Labrador Lunch (they serve the best puppuccinos), this collar starts to glow and—VOILA!—I’m no longer on the chic streets of Pawsburg.

I land with a thud on a cobblestone road, with humans wearing clothes funnier than a squirrel on a skateboard. “Oh, Poodlesticks,” I mutter. This isn’t Pawsburg. Nope, it’s ye olde England—I’ve got the tweedy vibes and horse-drawn carriages to confirm my hunch.
