Turbo PawWord Story
‘Morning Ma, Ditched my fav toy for a nutty adventure — saved a Bernie from a tree, saw Willie’s cheese-carrot trick on the beach, and even outran Sissy’s bath scheme! All while rocking a Paws-A-Latte mustache. #JustAnotherDayInPawsburg. 🐾 T’
I awoke from my slumber, the customary chaos of Pawsburg resonating through my ears. Not a standard city charade, oh no, but a symphony of friends, almost as harmonious as the cheese blocks they sauntered around with. How could a simple Terrier like me resist? The orange toy tossed aside, my day of intrigue and doggy delight began.
My first port of call was Upper Collie Canyon. Alas, the serenity was disrupted by a bulky St. Bernard stuck in a tree. No, not Willie, Squirt, or Sissy – a stray! Madness had befallen him, as if he had been inflicted with Turbo’s Bath-Time Syndrome. Clasping onto the branches as if his dear life depended on it.
“Turbo, help me down!” barked the hefty Bernard.
Chaos always betrayed a sense of humor in Pawsburg. I, Turbo, the wavy-haired savior, swung into action like a gray, svelte Tarzan, having doused my courage in a cup of Paws-A-Latte, which left a creamy moustache on my fur. Imagine their faces when they would see a 20-pound terrier rescuing a creature thrice his size.
Next stop was Spotted Red Beagle Beach. The sand alone was enough to scratch the itch that no baths could reach. My zest for the wild freed at last, till I observed a pair of Collies buried in the sand, heads popping out like hairy cacti. I’d have laughed, had I not been hit by a wave of cheese.Carrots, by Pawsburg’s decree, were forbidden from these sandy shores. Confusion unfolded before my eyes, all I could visualize was a grinning Willie standing on a mound of carrots.
Last on my itinerary? The Doggie Daycare. How that daredevil Squirt had managed to get onto the roof, clutching onto my favorite orange toy, was beyond anyone’s comprehension. My eyes widened at the sight, and also with the realization that it was bath day.
“So, Turbo, how’d you like a bath?” said a husky voice from behind. It was Sissy, her grin as hairy as her tail.
Now, this was a catastrophe I wasn’t braced for, but then again, it was only another day in Pawsburg. Turbo, that’s me, was now forced into the corner, salvation or dunk? A quick scan of the room showed baby carrots scattered at a far corner, diversion in place. The clock was ticking, and the bathtub was brimming with the ominous bath water.
‘A Terrier, can face anything,’ I muttered to myself, ‘even a bath…’
Ah! New tales of craziness, peppered with the irrevocable flavors of a day in my life, unfolded as I rushed towards the doorway, leaving a trail of chaos behind. So ventured Turbo, on the epic journey that is Pawsburg, and what a fantastic adventure it is!
The End.
