Annie PawWord Story
Hey family,
Annie here! Living life, loving roast chicken, and trying to charm the hell out of a mystery poodle at the South Poodle Pond. Also, got Sparky wearing bow ties now. LOL! You know me, master of stirring the pot…or should I say pond! 😉 Pawsburg drama queen signing out. #TailWaggingTales
Cheers,
Annie
I don’t need to tell you about Annie – you already know what she’s like. But, oh the dramas she’s been brewing this week in Pawsburg, dear reader, let me fill you in.
There we were at the Fetch-N-Bites, nibbling on our roast chickens, chuckling away. “Annie,” I said, “Only you’d sneak fresh chicken for a midnight snack. Who does she think she is? The Queen?” Well, she simply flashed those hazel eyes of mine and wagged her behind. She can get away with murder, I tell you.
Anyway, it was around that time when we spotted the mystery poodle from South Poodle Pond. A real hunky one with gleaming coat and… Wait, are we allowed to use the term ‘hunky’ for dogs? Well, why not!
Anyway, there came the mystery poodle sauntering like he owned the pond. Annie was smitten, or at least it looked like it. Bully’s honor. It wasn’t just his devilishly good looks; there was this air around him. Something paranormal. It was like he could… levitate squeaky toys or something. Or maybe it was just the sheen on his coat.
Now, Annie is friends with everyone – you know that. Let’s not even get started about how Sparky started wearing bow ties to compete with the poodle. But oh boy, did she want that poodle. He was truly something, something Annie couldn’t describe, something other than a floating squeaky hamburger toy.
Of course, Annie tried to play it cool. But I’ve seen her do that guilty little tail wag she does. She tried to capture his attention with tales – wild tales – about how she took down a broccoli monster at East Bulldog Bay once. I almost rolled my eyes out. But what do I do? She’s my friend.
Pawsburg has had its fair share of romances, paranormal and otherwise, but this was a story for the books. She, the English Bulldog Queen, swept off her paws by a shimmering poodle!
The next day, we saw him again at the Woof and Whisker Wellness Center. And guess what? He had with him one of those squeaky hamburger toys that Annie loves. “Oh, good grief,” I muttered.
As for Annie, well, she’s got clear intentions – already eyeing the Paws-A-Latte latte for their first official date. Ah, the purebred love story brewing in our very own Pawsburg. Will she get her Tsar Poodle? Will Sparky reclaim his chic magnet status? For that, we’ll have to see what the Golden Gate Gardens dawn brings, but that’s tomorrow’s tail-wagging tale.
The End.
