Chloe PawWord Story
Hey Mom, guess what? Your granddog, Chloe, is rocking Spencerville like a superstar. From sprinting across Dalmatian Desert to enjoying donuts infused with steak flavor at Doggy Donuts, our Chlobo is taking doggy heaven by storm. She’s even channeling her inner diva at Canine Couture Clothing. She misses us, especially her spot on the couch, but she’s also living her best life. Bark soon, love Bobo and Co.
So, check this out. Chloe, our adorable corpulent Pug, finally earned her wings and soared to Spencerville. A new phase, an adventure of a heavenly kind you might say. Leave it to Chloe to make the afterlife seem as glam as prom night.
Immediately, she made a beeline straight for Dalmatian Desert, its rolling dunes beckoning her adventurous spirit. She ran, oh boy, she ran like a wild pony let loose, her stout paws embraced by the sun-warmed sand. Walmart parking lots back home didn’t even compare… Not that any of us ever left her alone in one – seriously, people, don’t leave your pets in hot cars.
After her hero’s journey across the desert (such an overachiever), she sauntered into Doggy Donuts like a celebrity cruising Rodeo Drive. It’s silly, but I imagine Chloe ordering a steak-flavored donut. Yeah, you heard me right. Steak. Flavored. Donuts. Those were a thing in Spencerville. They also had Ham Whammies and Turkey Tidbits. Her carnivorous heart was singing louder than an American Idol wannabe.
There was zero concern about wardrobe malfunctions (or past leg-lifting embarrassments at the park) because she’d shop at Canine Couture Clothing. One night, she’d pick a high-collar velvet frock straight out of Downton Abbey; on another, a glammed-up biker bandana – because, why not?
And the restaurants! Boy, Spencerville was literally ‘all-you-can-eat’ Disneyland for Chloe. Fetch-N-Bites was her top choice – their menu was definitely not vegan-friendly. A plus from her perspective, downright gastronomic horror from mine.
In the spirit of Spencerville’s incredible social scene, Chloe wasn’t a loner either. She met everyone, conquering their hearts, and inviting them into her pack. Not that she had a choice, Chloe was as stubborn as a donkey when it came to making friends. Even when a grumpy and aloof Bulldog brushed pass her at the Bark ‘n’ Roll, Chloe simply shrugged it off with a shake of her adorable, twisty tail. Unfazed like a Disney princess.
She did miss us, though – a lot. We were her first real pack. She’d snuggle into the couch, glancing at the spot that was hers back home. But here’s the thing about Chloe: even though she missed us, she was totally cool with it. In her mind, she was like: “I’m having a blast, guys. Like, total fun. But, I’d still kill for a snuggle.”
Just like we all imagined high school to be, Chloe was coming into her own, navigating this utopia while subtly preparing for the day she’d be reunited with her family. I mean, seriously, this distinguished, full-figured pug was living her best life in doggy heaven. How cool is that? Or how Chloe is that?
The End.
