“Before we kick off this tale, I must remind you not to be melancholy. You remember our Doc, right? The English Bulldog with a heart as big as his appetite, a right eccentric, he is. So, pull up a comfy seat and I’ll take you through another splendid episode of life in Spencerville, where Doc now resides.

Ah! Spencerville – the Tail Waggers is abuzz with furry patrons, burgers and fries served on silver platters. “No lettuce, no bananas!” That’s what Doc always told me, and seems like he continues to uphold his culinary principles. I can picture him now, taking a big chomp out of that juicy burger, tail wagging in sheer delight. But between us, I think he’s made an exception for carrots and watermelons.

I can see Doc and Abby strolling down to The Pooch Playhouse after, their trot slow and blissful – just about as charming as their union. Ah! young love. Course, Abby is that white wonder, Doc’s lady love. Must say, together they paint a pretty picture against the backdrop of Silver Siberian Summit, magnificent and gleaming under the sun.

Remember Doc’s love for the tug-of-war? Boy, was he serious! I can see him competing with his friends at East Pug Palace, his stubborn streak showing bright. By the way, have you met Harper? That white long-haired curly Chihuahua – being Doc’s brother, he has some of the old bulldog’s charm.

Between you and me, there’s something about Spencerville that brings out the best in our friend. The soothing tranquility of the mountains and his backyard, away from the ocean’s bustle, are his personal haven. Despite his timidity creeping up sometimes, there’s always a sunny side. Furry friends frolicking about, trees brimming with birds and not a speck of rain!

And then there’s The Doggie Daycare and Sniff ‘n’ Snack. Well, the daycare is a loaded coin’s toss. Boasting state-of-the-art baths, we have Doc sidling away. Baths? Swimming and him, not the best of mates, no, no, and the vets? That’s a whole chapter for another day.

But despite these little dislikes, our bulldog cherishes his life, waiting for the day he’ll be reunited with the ones he missed, with us! Life in Spencerville, as I told you, is a charmed existence indeed. And our Doc, the bulldog with a story, makes it all the more enchanting.

A tale to remember, isn’t it? Always is, with Doc. Though far from us, he continues to enrich our lives with tales whipped up from our shared memories, and pleasant laughs. Spencerville, you’ll agree, is the perfect place for our Doc, and indeed all beloved pets, to weave myths for us until we join them.”
